Pudina Pani or mint sherbat is a refreshing coolant during the summer season. It is very commonly available in every street corner in Hyderabad.

In Hyderabad, during summers we get to see lot of vendors keeping stalls on the road side. The pots were covered with a wet cloth and decorated with thick layers of fresh mint leaves. People stop and grab a glass of it. I too wish to try pudina pani whenever I go out but scared about the water they use. Meanwhile one day in a vernacular paper the recipe is given with the photograph of a vendor.
I felt happy to see the pudina pani recipe. Immediately, I tried it at home once. It was nice. And most importantly whoever tasted mint sherbat outside told me that it is tasting exactly like that of roadside vendor’s one. And also of course home made mint sherbat is tastier and healthier. Without any doubts regarding water we can enjoy it. So, from then onwards every summer I would make it. We can keep the paste refrigerated and use whenever we feel like to have it.
