We prefer to offer salt lassi to the guests whoever visit us in the hot summer days. Salt lassi requires very less ingredients. There are lot of benefits of salt lassi. Salt lassi keeps our body heat under control. Not only that salt lassi keeps us hydrated for a longer time. We get masala lassi in tetra packs, but I like to make it by myself and serve.

I always prefer to homemade curd for any buttermilk or curd based recipes. So I always keep 1 litre curd made at home and handy. If homemade curd or buttermilk is available you can use store bought buttermilk or curd anytime. But take care that it should not be sour in taste.
