A quick energy boosting healthy laddus are made with dry fruits, sesame seeds and flax seeds. They are power packed and easy to make. The best part of this recipe is we need not use refined sugar to make them. Energy boosting healthy laddus are helpful for mid day sweet cravings. They help in boosting energy and also improves our metabolism.
Dry fruits used in this recipe gives a nice rich flavour to the laddus. Sesame seeds and flax seeds helps as immunity boosters and the jaggery is another best ingredient to improve our iron and minerals.
I would always love to make healthy recipes mainly sweets. I have a sweet tooth so always would like to make some sweet. Sweets made with jaggery gives me satisfaction and feeling that I can have them guilt free.


Energy-Boosting Healthy Laddus – No Refined Sugar!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sesame Seeds
- 1/2 cup Flax Seeds
- 1/4 tbsp Cashew Nuts
- 1/4 tbsp Almonds
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
Instructions
- Heat a thick bottom kadai.
- Add sesame seeds and dry roast them till they start spluttering.
- Keep them aside.
- Again roast flax seeds, till they too start spluttering.
- Keep them aside.
- Again heat the same kadai and add cashew nuts and almonds.
- Roast them till the aroma spreads.
- Add them to the above seeds.
- Heat the same kadai and roast pumpkin seeds also.
- Mix all of them together and allow them to cool.
- In a dry mixer jar add all of them and grind to make a coarse powder.
- Do not over grind them. They would release oil.
- Heat thick bottom kadai, add jaggery.
- Let the jaggery melt completely. Make one string syrup.
- Add the above powdered seeds mixture to the jaggery syrup.
- Switch off the flame and combine them once.
- Add a spoonful of ghee and mix again.
- Transfer the healthy laddu mixture into a wide bowl.
- Let it cool to handle. Make laddu with wet hands.
- Serve energy-boosting healthy laddus anytime of the day or as mid-day meal to kids.
