Custard or Fruit Custard, Vermicelli Payasam or Semiya Payasam and sabudana payasam are the desserts with which we were acquainted from our childhood. These are all very easy and quick to make desserts. Planning is also not required just make them in a jiffy.

Custard with lots of fruits is a delicious and filling dessert. We can serve it warm or chilled. During summers instead of ice-cream I would prefer cold custard. There are different types of fruit custard recipes like mango custard, pineapple custard and apple custard. But always prefer to make plain vanilla custard combined with lots of fruits. This is an easy fruit custard recipe and it is my go to dessert.

Fruit custard can be served without fruits also, then it is called as simply custard. Always prefer to use full cream milk to get nice rich flavour. Add fruits of your choice but mango, banana, pomegranate, tutti fruity, grapes and apple are the best ones mixes with custard. Adding papaya, orange and watermelon are also combines but the taste changes like sometimes oranges turn sour, and papaya and watermelon have different taste.
