Ugadi Pachadi Recipe
A special and traditional Ugadi pachadi for Ugadi or Samvatsaradi festival of Telugu states.

- 1/2 cup Neem Flower
- 1/2 cup Tamarind
- 1/2 cup jaggery
- 1/2 cup Raw Mango peeled and cut into small pieces
- Salt to Taste
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Soak tamarind for half an hour.
Pluck neem flowers from the tender stems.
Chop jaggery.
Peel the skin of raw mango and cut into small pieces.
Extract tamarind juice from soaked tamarind.
In a mixing bowl add neem flowers, tamarind juice, salt.
Red chilli powder, jaggery and cut mango pieces too.
Mix all of them well and offer it to the deity.
Serve Ugadi pachadi.
Use only fresh ingredients.
We can alternate with pepper powder in the place of chilli powder.
And also use lemon juice in the place of tamarind juice to avoid too much sourness.
It is a no cooking recipe.
