Ragi Java or Finger Millet porridge, is one of the best beverage to beat the summer heat. A simple, healthy porridge made with ragi flour. This helps in keeping the body cool and light during hot summer days.

- 1 tbsp Ragi Flour
- 2 Cups Water
- Salt to Taste
- 1 Cup Curd or Butter Milk
Mix 1 tbsp ragi flour and water. Make slurry with it.
Chop onions and fresh coriander leaves.
In a thick bottom vessel boil water till rolling boil.
Add salt and ragi slurry to the boiling water.
Allow it to cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
While stirring continuously.
Cook it in low flame and keep stirring it.
Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
Add curd or buttermilk in a mixing bowl and churn it.
Add salt if necessary, add ragi java.
Mix it well and serve chilled.
Serve chilled Ragi Java with added chopped onions and coriander leaves.
