Cut sides of the bread slice
Allow the bread to dry for 2 to 4 hours.
Heat ghee in a kadai.
Fry cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios and kismiss.
Keep them aside.
Again heat ghee in the same kadai.
Add bread pieces. Fry them till they turn brown and crisp.
Fry them in batches, and keep them aside.
Boil milk in a thick bottom pan till they become half or less than it
Add 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a thick bottom pan.
Let the sugar melts completley.
Let it boil and become sticky.
Add cardamom powder and switch off the flame.
Switch off the flame and let the sugar syrup settles for a minute.
Slowly add fried bread pieces into it.
Add fried nuts also.
Gently mix it well.
Let the bread absorb the sugar syrup.
Lastly add 1 cup of milk and mix well.
Serve warm, chill or hot double ka meetha.
