Soak badam/almonds and cashew in hot water for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove the skin of soaked badam, and grind it to make a smooth paste
Keep some of badam and cashew aside and chop them.
Along with cashew nuts grind them to make a smooth paste.
Soak saffron in little milk.
In a thick bottom kadai add little water and add milk.
Let the milk boil till half.
Add badam paste and mix it well.
See that there won't be any lumps formed.
Allow the badam milk to boil for a minute.
Add sugar and mix it again.
Let the sugar also dissolves completely.
Add chopped pista, cashew and badam, we kept them aside.
Add soaked saffron along with the milk.
Let the milk boil for a minute.
Lastly before switching off add cardamom powder.
Pour the badam milk in serving tumblers, top it with some chopped pista, almond and cashew.
Serve badam milk chilled or warm depending on the season.
