Sujji/semolina,salt to taste,
oil and ghee,onion,tomato,green chillis,ginger,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,chana dal,urad dal,vegetables of our choice (optional)

chop onions, tomatoes, ginger and green chillis
Fry suji in ghee till the aroma out.
heat oil and ghee in a thick bottom pan.
Add mustard, cumin, chana dal and urad dal.

Saute them till the dals change colour.
Add chopped green chillis, ginger and fry them.
Add chopped onions and tomatoes. Fry all of them for a minute.
Instructions
Add water, for 1 cup of suji add 2 cups of water. Add salt.
Cover and let the water boil.When water starts boiling add suji and mix it well.
Cover and cook.
Instructions
Add a spoon of oil and ghee to get nice aroma. Mix the upma well and lastly add curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Serve hot piping upma with curd, pickle of your choice.
